Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Piriapolis FC's Zarando Zumiza started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 2nd minute, one of Piriapolis FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Piriapolis FC. In the 4th minute there was a penalty for Soto FC. Arnaldo Torrecilla stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Tiadoro Solo. 0-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jose Eguiluz during the 14th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Soto FC getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Jose Eguiluz hit a great ball. Piriapolis FC's Txeru Teza couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 15th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Soto FC. In the 18th minute there was a penalty for Piriapolis FC. Txeru Teza stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Dunixi Afonte. 1-1. 21 minutes into the game, Montez Diguja cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Dunixi Afonte was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Zarando Zumiza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Dunixi Afonte tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 29th minute of the match Gaitan Barcaiztegui sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tiadoro Solo skillfully saved the ball. Xalvador Rivero hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. 43 minutes into the match, Piriapolis FC's Zarando Zumiza sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dunixi Afonte narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After some careless play in the Piriapolis FC defense, Amancio Beytia kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tiadoro Solo. The Piriapolis FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tiadoro Solo should have stopped the shot. Cidro Tineo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 73 minutes into the match, Piriapolis FC's goalkeeper Tiadoro Solo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Amancio Beytia. Montez Diguja fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dunixi Afonte having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Piriapolis FC's zone, Cidro Tineo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tiadoro Solo came out of the goal and Cidro Tineo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Xalvador Rivero came up free with the goalie in the 97th minute, the Piriapolis FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Xalvador Rivero couldn't finish the play.
