In the 11th minute the ball was on its way in behind Larrosa's goalkeeper Lucado Peregrin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Lucado Peregrin was a little too slow when Aldomiro Elicegui got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 13th minute. The score was now 1-0. Aldomiro Elicegui fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lucado Peregrin having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Chago Bardece's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Santo Escalante was relentless in the 19th minute of the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Chago Bardece in the 22nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Santo Escalante prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Nesor Carcel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Buricayupi's Santo Escalante played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nesor Carcel in the 29th minute of play. In the 30th minute Chago Bardece shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Santo Escalante saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Buricayupi's zone, Nesor Carcel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Santo Escalante came out of the goal and Nesor Carcel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a little luck, Larrosa's Lucado Peregrin got control of the ball when Turi Celada tried to sneak it across the goal line. Aldomiro Elicegui blasted a shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Lucado Peregrin having to make a save. Buricayupi's Turi Celada got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Aldomiro Elicegui fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lucado Peregrin having to interfere. Santo Escalante showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nesor Carcel, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. Ulises Ventosa's late challenge caught a Buricayupi's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ulises Ventosa helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Larrosa's Ulises Ventosa got a free kick in the 48th minute. Jerrold Marful, 49 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal.

In the 60th minute, Turi Celada made a precise shot to the right of Lucado Peregrin. Larrosa's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. In the 64th minute, Lertxun Ozana hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Santo Escalante showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Chago Bardece in the 69th minute of the match. 77 minutes into the game, Bilintx Rolon was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Buricayupi's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Larrosa the free kick. Turi Celada sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Crispo Ganado during the 94th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 94th minute, Crispo Ganado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Larrosa's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
