Aldomiro Elicegui scored 0-1 in the 6th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Eulalio Picado, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Santo Escalante stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Xavian Moyua's shot from short distance in the 13th minute. Xavian Moyua received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Santo Escalante tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Flor Bernalda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Turi Celada recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Buricayupi booed when Molles was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Koldobika Monroy didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 22nd minute Aldomiro Elicegui shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eulalio Picado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Aldomiro Elicegui in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Eulalio Picado saved Molles from getting behind. When Flor Bernalda came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the Molles fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Flor Bernalda couldn't finish the play. Santo Escalante showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Xavian Moyua, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Buricayupi's Santo Escalante proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 42nd minute of the match, managed to save Buricayupi from getting a goal against them. In the 47th minute, Flor Bernalda fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Santo Escalante, passed just outside the right post. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Xavian Moyua stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Buricayupi's Gabirel Guardia got a free kick in the 54th minute. Xavian Moyua received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Santo Escalante tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eulalio Picado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aldomiro Elicegui, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 66th minute, Aldomiro Elicegui fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Eulalio Picado, passed just outside the right post. Turi Celadas short, quick shot in the 68thth minute got Eulalio Picado to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. When Molles's Flor Bernalda in the 70th minute got a chance for a shot 70th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Buricayupi's goalie prevented a goal. In the 70th minute, Gabirel Guardia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 74thth minute of the game Xavian Moyua who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Buricayupi's Santo Escalante was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Turi Celada could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 77th minute of the match, but Eulalio Picado made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aldomiro Elicegui in the 79th minute of play forced Molles's goalkeeper Eulalio Picado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Xavian Moyua sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Molles getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Quirze Rapado hit a great ball. If Xavian Moyua had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
