Aldomiro Balensuela struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Xabier Lecuona didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pavon. In the 34th minute, Bidari Queduro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Beturian Recasens managed to get in a good position for a shot. Colon's supporters rose to their feet, but Beturian Recasens was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Baristo Candano breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Lixandro Viladrosa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gervaso Vidal kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match.

Caton Urquiaga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Baristo Candano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Baristo Candano made a fantastic save in the 54th minute, when Caton Urquiaga sent off a good shot on target. Baristo Candano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Beturian Recasens, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 60th match minute, Pavon was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fe Dragranda to maneuver through the defense. Caton Urquiaga's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Baristo Candano read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 62nd minute of play. In the 75th minute, Fe Dragranda hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 76 minutes into the match, Caton Urquiaga had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Baristo Candano. Pavon's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Caton Urquiaga was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. In the 80th minute of the match Bahiano Brau sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Baristo Candano skillfully saved the ball. With a little luck, Pavon's Baristo Candano got control of the ball when Caton Urquiaga tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Pavon's zone, Beturian Recasens stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Baristo Candano came out of the goal and Beturian Recasens tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Baristo Candano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Beturian Recasens, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 96 minutes, Beturian Recasens managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Colon's supporters crossed their fingers, but Beturian Recasens was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Pavon supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Colon's performance. The match ended with a win for Colon.
