To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Sequeira booed when Campamento was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bertin Confercin didn't get a good kick on the ball. After recieving a nice pass, Sequeira 's Ezkerra Riguero tried to score from far away in the 17th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Mauricio Astola fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leonel Ruiloba having to interfere. Mauricio Astola received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Leonel Ruiloba tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Luciano Moreta came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the Sequeira fans jumped to their feet. In the 35th minute the ball was on its way in behind Campamento's goalkeeper Leonel Ruiloba, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 37 played minutes Mauricio Astola rounded Campamento's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-0. A collision led to Campamento getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Sal Launda hit a great ball. Mauricio Astola struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Leonel Ruiloba didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sequeira . No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sanduru Munet was the one to do the kick off. Luciano Moreta recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mauricio Astola fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leonel Ruiloba having to interfere. 56 minutes into the match, Mauricio Astola had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Leonel Ruiloba. Campamento's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mauricio Astola was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Campamento's Leonel Ruiloba played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luciano Moreta in the 64th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Campamento's Sanduru Munet got a free kick in the 65th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luciano Moreta in the 68th minute of play forced Campamento's goalkeeper Leonel Ruiloba to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mauricio Astola received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Leonel Ruiloba tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luciano Moreta recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Rigoberto Murguia came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the Sequeira fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rigoberto Murguia couldn't finish the play. Mauricio Astola's late challenge caught a Campamento's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mauricio Astola helped the player get up and apologised. In the 85th minute, Mauricio Astola hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Luciano Moreta's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Leonel Ruiloba was relentless in the 87th minute of the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tximitx Aranzabal during the 87th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Campamento's Tximitx Aranzabal got a free kick in the 87th minute. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Sequeira had played much better football throughout.
