Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Leizarraga Mathey started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Salta's Alejandro Giron played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leizarraga Mathey in the 4th minute of play. The Salta fans' excitement grew in the 11th match minute when Salta's Mercurio Padin looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After having played for 14 minutes, Leizarraga Mathey managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Quintana's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leizarraga Mathey was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Leizarraga Mathey received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Alejandro Giron tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bortzaioriz Godoy recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 32 minutes into the match, Quintana's goalkeeper Xzaiver Calzado had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mercurio Padin. Xzaiver Calzado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bortzaioriz Godoy, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 39 minutes into the match, Quintana's Leizarraga Mathey sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alejandro Giron narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Leizarraga Mathey might have been able to make a better finish in the 40th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alejandro Giron. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Leizarraga Mathey ran back to his position shaking his head. Xzaiver Calzado made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mercurio Padin in the 48th minute. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
The wind increased when Bortzaioriz Godoy made the kick off in the second half. If Leizarraga Mathey had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 57th minute, Leizarraga Mathey hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 58thth minute of the game Bortzaioriz Godoy who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Quintana's Xzaiver Calzado was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Petri Ozollo in the 60th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alejandro Giron saved Salta from getting behind. In the 66th minute, Aitor Viana hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Salta booed when Quintana was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Valiente Arintero didn't get a good kick on the ball.
