Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Furtado Urtuuste took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Reinaldo Arruda, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Reimundo Anduaga's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Teodoro Onis read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 5th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Juan Labra during the 10th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Vichadero AFC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 9th minute. Penalty! In the 11th minute there was a penalty for Tacuarembo AFC. Lorenzo Masa stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Furtado Urtuuste. 0-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bautista Redondo in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Furtado Urtuuste saved Vichadero AFC from getting behind. Bautista Redondo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Furtado Urtuuste tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 26th minute, Bautista Redondo made a precise shot to the right of Furtado Urtuuste. Vichadero AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Furtado Urtuuste stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bautista Redondo's shot from short distance in the 30th minute. 33 minutes into the match, Tacuarembo AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Reimundo Anduaga came free, but Teodoro Onis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 35thth minute of the game Bautista Redondo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Vichadero AFC's Furtado Urtuuste was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Cordarryl Mantecon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Teodoro Onis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cordarryl Mantecon who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 46thth minute tested the skills of Teodoro Onis when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

After a defensive mix-up in Tacuarembo AFC's zone, Reimundo Anduaga stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Teodoro Onis came out of the goal and Reimundo Anduaga tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 58 minutes into the match, Reimundo Anduaga notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Tacuarembo AFC's Teodoro Onis. Teodoro Onis was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Reinaldo Arruda's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Furtado Urtuuste firmly grabbed it by the left post. Tacuarembo AFC's Reinaldo Arruda suffered a concussion after 79 minutes and had to leave the field. When Isidoro Catiti fell near the penalty area in the 79th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Vichadero AFC's protests and gave Isidoro Catiti a yellow card for diving instead. In the 80th match minute, Vichadero AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Isidoro Catiti to maneuver through the defense. Tacuarembo AFC's Lorenzo Masa couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 81st minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Vichadero AFC. Panpili Cameno recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Juan Labra kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. Lorenzo Masa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 86th minute of the match, but Furtado Urtuuste made a huge save. Lucero Forcen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 93 minutes into the match, Vichadero AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Bautista Redondo came free, but Furtado Urtuuste reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 97th minute of the match, Bautista Redondo tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Furtado Urtuuste saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 98 minutes into the match, Vichadero AFC's Cordarryl Mantecon sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Teodoro Onis narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The Tacuarembo AFC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Tacuarembo AFC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
