Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Dolfos Cachorro got the match started through his kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dolfos Cachorro in the 3rd minute of play forced Esperanza's goalkeeper Hartz Morelo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 8th minute Xulio Cañellas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Egoitz Laranga saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fraco Mancebo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 12 played minutes Esperanza got a freekick which was hit by Jorrin Villalva. Sengrat Franco took the ball and in the 18 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hartz Morelo. Hartz Morelo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Oalo Seijas during the 20th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Oalo Seijas hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. Xulio Cañellas took the ball and in the 25 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Egoitz Laranga. Egoitz Laranga dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Xulio Cañellas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Esperanza booed when Carpinteria FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Monte Lobato didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Carpinteria FC getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Rocio Movellan hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fraco Mancebo in the 35th minute of play forced Carpinteria FC's goalkeeper Egoitz Laranga to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Monte Lobato's late challenge caught a Esperanza's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Monte Lobato helped the player get up and apologised. 42 minutes into the match, Esperanza's goal looked a bit too open when Dolfos Cachorro came free, but Hartz Morelo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Xulio Cañellas to strike the kick off in the second half. After having played for 52 minutes, Dolfos Cachorro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Carpinteria FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dolfos Cachorro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 54thth minute of the game Dolfos Cachorro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Esperanza's Hartz Morelo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 58th minute the ball was on its way in behind Carpinteria FC's goalkeeper Egoitz Laranga, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Fraco Mancebo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 63 minutes, Fraco Mancebo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Esperanza's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fraco Mancebo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 66 minutes into the match, Fraco Mancebo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Egoitz Laranga. Carpinteria FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Fraco Mancebo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. 70 minutes into the match, Esperanza's Fraco Mancebo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Egoitz Laranga narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Egoitz Laranga stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Xulio Cañellas's shot from short distance in the 76th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Carpinteria FC's zone, Xulio Cañellas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Egoitz Laranga came out of the goal and Xulio Cañellas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Xulio Cañellas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Fraco Mancebo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Egoitz Laranga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Xulio Cañellas's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 88thth minute, Egoitz Laranga skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After taking down the ball on Esperanza's corner Jorrin Villalva fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Egoitz Laranga quite easily take care of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rocio Movellan in the 98th minute of play forced Esperanza's goalkeeper Hartz Morelo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Esperanza supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Esperanza would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
