Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Arenal's Zacarias Alcalde started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 5th minute the ball was on its way in behind Arenal's goalkeeper Maraman Montiel, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Chucho Michelena sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Cresenciano Ruiz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maraman Montiel having to interfere. 11 minutes into the game, Chucho Michelena was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cardona FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Arenal the free kick. After 11 played minutes Cardona FC got a freekick which was hit by Chucho Michelena. Cresenciano Ruiz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maraman Montiel having to interfere. Cardona FC's Cresenciano Ruiz got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cresenciano Ruiz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Maraman Montiel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Corderall Ubilla received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Zemario Olarria tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Osmundo Saracha kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. If Edwardo Eiriz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 35th minute, Zacarias Alcalde got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Zacarias Alcalde recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cardona FC's Zemario Olarria played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zacarias Alcalde in the 40th minute of play. When Nalo Hoyos fell near the penalty area in the 41st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cardona FC's protests and gave Nalo Hoyos a yellow card for diving instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Chucho Michelena managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cardona FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Chucho Michelena was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Maraman Montiel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.

The wind increased when Cresenciano Ruiz made the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Cardona FC's Chucho Michelena sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Maraman Montiel narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Maraman Montiel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Chucho Michelena, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Corderall Ubilla in the 72nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Zemario Olarria saved Cardona FC from getting behind. Chucho Michelena fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maraman Montiel having to interfere. In the 85th minute, Zacarias Alcalde fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Zacarias Alcalde recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zacarias Alcalde in the 96th minute of play forced Cardona FC's goalkeeper Zemario Olarria to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
