Sugoi Arona showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Chucho Michelena in the 18th minute of the match. Goi Bellogin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zemario Olarria having to interfere. 2-0 became the score in the 24th minute when Goi Bellogin elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Cresenciano Ruiz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fermin Aranzabal's late challenge caught a Cardona FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fermin Aranzabal helped the player get up and apologised. Fermin Aranzabal hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Cresenciano Ruiz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cardona FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Cresenciano Ruiz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sugoi Arona breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
