Xian Lalatu ran back to his position shaking his head. Pirro Roelas hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Olivera's Xian Lalatu got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Urtun Barga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Bidari Arruda tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 40th minute Urtun Barga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bidari Arruda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Baristo Moracia hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. Apolo Santoni might have been able to make a better finish in the 47th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bidari Arruda. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Apolo Santoni ran back to his position shaking his head. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Xian Lalatu to make the kick off. Beila Benavides kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. Patricio Guill took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 54th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Tauro Barbosa. Roja's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 54th match minute, Olivera was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Patricio Guill to maneuver through the defense. Patricio Guill's late challenge caught a Roja's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Patricio Guill helped the player get up and apologised. In the 57th minute, Patricio Guill hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Roja's Pirro Roelas couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 59th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Olivera. Apolo Santoni received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Bidari Arruda tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Olivera's Bidari Arruda played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Apolo Santoni in the 62nd minute of play. Erlantz Gualda charged in rather forcefully in the 67th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Erlantz Gualda the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Apolo Santoni's late challenge caught a Olivera's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Apolo Santoni helped the player get up and apologised. Apolo Santoni hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. A collision led to Olivera getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Patricio Guill hit a great ball. Bidari Arruda showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Apolo Santoni, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. In the 79th minute, Fliz Amesquita got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 80th minute Xian Lalatu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tauro Barbosa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Patricio Guill was shown his second yellow card after 82 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 82nd minute of the game. One of Olivera:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Roja:s goal. When Urtun Barga came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Roja fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Urtun Barga couldn't finish the play. After 94 played minutes Olivera got a freekick which was hit by Erlantz Gualda. The Roja players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
