Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Savier Casiano started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd match minute, Echevarria was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Afonso Caras to maneuver through the defense. Gartxot Dieguez stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Savier Casiano's shot from short distance in the 5th minute. If Savier Casiano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Chacarita booed when Echevarria was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Epifanio Zamarro didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Savier Casiano managed to get in a good position for a shot. Chacarita's supporters rose to their feet, but Savier Casiano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gartxot Dieguez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Xaver Aramoyana showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Urki Lizaur, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Paublo Santervas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Xaver Aramoyana having to interfere. If Urki Lizaur had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Afonso Caras hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. Gartxot Dieguez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Savier Casiano in the 23rd minute of play. Echevarria's Gartxot Dieguez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Savier Casiano in the 24th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Savier Casiano's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gartxot Dieguez was relentless in the 25th minute of the game. Gartxot Dieguez made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Gelacio Tegeiro sent off a good shot on target. Chacarita's Xaver Aramoyana played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paublo Santervas in the 30th minute of play. In the 34th minute, Urki Lizaur got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Xaver Aramoyana showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paublo Santervas, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Gelacio Tegeiro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 41st minute of the match, but Gartxot Dieguez made a huge save. When Eriberto Izquierdo fell near the penalty area in the 44th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Echevarria's protests and gave Eriberto Izquierdo a yellow card for diving instead. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Paublo Santervas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Paublo Santervas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 59th minute, Chuse Cereijais hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gartxot Dieguez stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Savier Casiano's shot from short distance in the 64th minute. In the 67th minute Gelacio Tegeiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gartxot Dieguez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Paublo Santervas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 74th minute, Paublo Santervas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Xaver Aramoyana made a fantastic save in the 76th minute, when Epifanio Zamarro sent off a good shot on target. Gartxot Dieguez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chacarita. After having played for 80 minutes, Savier Casiano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chacarita's supporters crossed their fingers, but Savier Casiano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Chacarita's Xaver Aramoyana proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 86th minute of the match, managed to save Chacarita from getting a goal against them. The corner ended in Azeari Mazorra almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Chacarita's Xaver Aramoyana did a great save. Gartxot Dieguez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Savier Casiano in the 95th minute of play. Gartxot Dieguez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Savier Casiano in the 96th minute of the match. Chacarita were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Echevarria for a fine match.
