Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Apolo Santoni kicked off to start the match. If Urki Lizaur had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 8th minute Urki Lizaur shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tauro Barbosa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 10th minute the ball was on its way in behind Echevarria's goalkeeper Gartxot Dieguez, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Paublo Santervas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Tauro Barbosa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Apolo Santoni blasted a shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gartxot Dieguez having to make a save. After a defensive mix-up in Roja's zone, Paublo Santervas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tauro Barbosa came out of the goal and Paublo Santervas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tauro Barbosa made a fantastic save in the 22nd minute, when Paublo Santervas sent off a good shot on target. Echevarria's Gartxot Dieguez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Apolo Santoni in the 26th minute of play. In the 38th minute, Apolo Santoni made a precise shot to the right of Gartxot Dieguez. Echevarria's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. After a rather tough play, Roja's Erlantz Modet got a free kick in the 42nd minute. When Urtun Barga came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Roja fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Urtun Barga couldn't finish the play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Urki Lizaur to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Roja's goalkeeper Tauro Barbosa, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Tauro Barbosa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Urki Lizaur in the 54th minute of play. In the 55th minute, Baristo Moracia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 57 minutes into the game, Apolo Santoni recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Gartxot Dieguez. Apolo Santoni showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-2. The audience was convinced that Urki Lizaur's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tauro Barbosa was relentless in the 62nd minute of the game. Tauro Barbosa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Paublo Santervas's shot from short distance in the 64th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Paublo Santervas in the 67th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tauro Barbosa saved Roja from getting behind. After 67 played minutes Roja got a freekick which was hit by Alonso Macilla. In the 70th minute the ball was on its way in behind Roja's goalkeeper Tauro Barbosa, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 75 played minutes, Roja's Erlantz Modet shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Gartxot Dieguez came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Roja reached it. 77 minutes into the game, Urki Lizaur was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Echevarria's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Roja the free kick. 81 minutes into the match, Echevarria's goal looked a bit too open when Apolo Santoni came free, but Gartxot Dieguez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Urtun Barga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gartxot Dieguez having to interfere. Urki Lizaur's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tauro Barbosa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 87th minute of play. Tauro Barbosa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paublo Santervas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Urtun Barga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Gartxot Dieguez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
