Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Zabal Arintero in the 5th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Martin Estancion prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Elia Olazarra received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Martin Estancion tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 8th minute, Zabal Arintero managed to get in a good position for a shot. Risso AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Zabal Arintero was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Martin Estancion breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zabal Arintero in the 11th minute of play forced Itapebi FC's goalkeeper Martin Estancion to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Josias Orchua fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bihar Heredia having to interfere. Martin Estancion took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elia Olazarra, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cristian Salas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 25th minute of the game. One of Risso AFC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Itapebi FC:s goal. After a rather tough play, Itapebi FC's Mario Rois got a free kick in the 29th minute. It was beautiful to see Risso AFC's Raphael Lezarreta in action when he in the 31st minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! Hermon Laorden's late challenge caught a Risso AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hermon Laorden helped the player get up and apologised. Elia Olazarra recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Elia Olazarra might have been able to make a better finish in the 45th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Martin Estancion. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Elia Olazarra ran back to his position shaking his head. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Cristian Salas made the kick off in the second half. Elia Olazarra blasted a shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Martin Estancion having to make a save. Martin Estancion took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zabal Arintero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Itapebi FC's Martin Estancion proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 60th minute of the match, managed to save Itapebi FC from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Risso AFC booed when Itapebi FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Quinton Moracia didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 67th minute the ball was on its way in behind Risso AFC's goalkeeper Bihar Heredia, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Zabal Arintero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 88 minutes into the game, Mergildo Tuñon was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Risso AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Itapebi FC the free kick. Mergildo Tuñon kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. In the 92nd minute of the match Gervaso Ungia shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Martin Estancion showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Risso AFC's Bihar Heredia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Josias Orchua in the 96th minute of play. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
