Through an outstanding action, after 3 minutes, Florencio Morejon successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Florencio Morejon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rodolfo Chico, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Germano Arranz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rodolfo Macias, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. In the 18th of the match, Rodolfo Chico tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Florencio Morejon got in the way and made a wonderful save. Inacio Peinado, 20 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. After 23 played minutes Montevideo FC got a freekick which was hit by Zenaido Merlo. In the 26thth minute of the game Rodolfo Macias who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Vera's Germano Arranz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Diagur Cando had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 36 played minutes Vera got a freekick which was hit by Pacifico Seron. The audience was convinced that Diagur Cando's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Germano Arranz was relentless in the 38th minute of the game. Florencio Morejon made a fantastic save in the 40th minute, when Guillelmo Gili sent off a good shot on target. In the 45th minute the ball was on its way in behind Montevideo FC's goalkeeper Florencio Morejon, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A hard shot 48 in the game by Guillelmo Gili from a close distance when the talented Florencio Morejon managed to make a qualified save. Montevideo FC's players were relieved.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rodolfo Chico was the one to do the kick off. Florencio Morejon came out of the goal and Guillelmo Gili tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Guillelmo Gili came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the Vera fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Guillelmo Gili couldn't finish the play. Germano Arranz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Diagur Cando in the 68th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rodolfo Macias during the 70th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Montevideo FC's Rodolfo Macias got a free kick in the 70th minute. Diagur Cando sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Montevideo FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Florencio Morejon should have stopped the shot. 97 minutes into the match, Guillelmo Gili notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Montevideo FC's Florencio Morejon. Florencio Morejon was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
