Martin Estancion made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lastur Angelo in the 3rd minute of play. Germano Arranz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Donostia Fandoz in the 8th minute. Josias Orchua came free with the goalkeeper in the 10th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Germano Arranz could save by the left post. Guillelmo Gili fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Martin Estancion having to interfere. In the 16th minute, Donostia Fandoz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Vera's defense didn't have a chance, in the 20th minute, when Cristian Salas scored to the left of an out of position Germano Arranz, making the score, 1-0. Martin Estancion made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Guillelmo Gili in the 23rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Salas in the 24th minute of play forced Vera's goalkeeper Germano Arranz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rodolfo Chico received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Martin Estancion tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 30 minutes, Hermon Laorden mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Itapebi FC and the Vera players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Itapebi FC's Hermon Laorden got a free kick in the 30th minute. In the 33rd minute Rodolfo Chico shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Martin Estancion saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Felipe Molina kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. Rodolfo Chico sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Guillelmo Gili managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vera's supporters rose to their feet, but Guillelmo Gili was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Martin Estancion breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Vera's Rodolfo Chico got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Maureo Quintano kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cristian Salas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Hermon Laorden kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. Through an outstanding action, after 53 minutes, Martin Estancion successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 55 minutes into the match, Donostia Fandoz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Germano Arranz. Vera's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Donostia Fandoz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. A collision led to Vera getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Lastur Angelo hit a great ball. Germano Arranz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Josias Orchua in the 58th minute of play. If Cristian Salas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cristian Salas took the ball and in the 64 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Germano Arranz. Germano Arranz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Josias Orchua in the 67th minute of play forced Vera's goalkeeper Germano Arranz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cristian Salas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Guillelmo Gili came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the Vera fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Guillelmo Gili couldn't finish the play. 90 minutes into the match, Vera's Guillelmo Gili sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Martin Estancion narrowly saved just below the crossbar. For all the effort they put into the match, the Vera players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Itapebi FC.
