After a defensive mix-up in Arenales FC's zone, Humberto Menocal stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cordeara Figueras came out of the goal and Humberto Menocal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Firman Flames in the 8th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rogelio Bustillos prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Cordeara Figueras was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 10th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Eloi Buisan. Cordeara Figueras took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Resto Abrea, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lonzo Badillo did an outstanding performance 38 minutes into the match, when he by himself got past the opposing team's defense and with a quick scored 0-1 to the right of an irritated Rogelio Bustillos in the goal. If Prospero Villarmerin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Resto Abrea to make the kick off. Resto Abrea recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 79th match minute, Arenales FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lonzo Badillo to maneuver through the defense. Concordia FC's Resto Abrea got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 88 minutes into the match, Concordia FC's goalkeeper Rogelio Bustillos had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Firman Flames. In the 90th minute Prospero Villarmerin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rogelio Bustillos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luciano Tacon's late challenge caught a Arenales FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Luciano Tacon helped the player get up and apologised. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
