Mourino's Angelo Cuadrado got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Angelo Cuadrado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bermudo Torrent having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dagoberto Ascarza in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Florinio Mendiune prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dagoberto Ascarza in the 27th minute of play forced Mourino's goalkeeper Florinio Mendiune to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rainerio Guiles charged in rather forcefully in the 29th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rainerio Guiles the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Vila AFC's Rainerio Guiles got a free kick in the 29th minute. Bermudo Torrent made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Angelo Cuadrado in the 43rd minute of play. A collision led to Mourino getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Casomiro Bordales hit a great ball. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Angelo Cuadrado was the one to do the kick off. 2-1 became the score in the 55th minute when Angelo Cuadrado elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Mourino's Florinio Mendiune proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 59th minute of the match, managed to save Mourino from getting a goal against them. If Rafe Mondragon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Florinio Mendiune showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dagoberto Ascarza, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. With his leg Florinio Mendiune managed to avoid a goal in the 64thth minute, when Vila AFC's Rafe Mondragon fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 72 minutes into the match, Rafe Mondragon had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Florinio Mendiune. Mourino's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rafe Mondragon was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2.
