The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Carolo Pelon helped the player get up and apologised. After a defensive mix-up in Mourino's zone, Vidal Villalobos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Florinio Mendiune came out of the goal and Vidal Villalobos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 29th minute Hever Dalmases shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Florinio Mendiune saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The corner ended in Oier Padro almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Sayago FC's Arnoldo Collazos did a great save. 60 minutes into the match, Mourino's goal looked a bit too open when Hever Dalmases came free, but Florinio Mendiune reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dantel Muñoyerro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arnoldo Collazos having to interfere. Ricardo Rivera kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. Vidal Villalobos's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Florinio Mendiune read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 78th minute of play. When Dantel Muñoyerro came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the Mourino fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dantel Muñoyerro couldn't finish the play. Angelo Cuadrado charged in rather forcefully in the 92nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Angelo Cuadrado the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play.
