A hard shot 15 in the game by Pellas Castells from a close distance when the talented Cornelio Helica managed to make a qualified save. Sayago AFC's players were relieved. Cornelio Helica showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dolfos Vicente, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Nazario Sanguino didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Blai Alicea went, in the 18th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. If Blai Alicea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sayago AFC's Cornelio Helica played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dolfos Vicente in the 27th minute of play. Anastasio Guruzeta hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Nazario Sanguino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Narciso Moneo, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. When Blai Alicea came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the Sayago AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Blai Alicea couldn't finish the play. When Zxavian Aramberri fell near the penalty area in the 38th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sayago AFC's protests and gave Zxavian Aramberri a yellow card for diving instead. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Blai Alicea was the one to do the kick off. Nazario Sanguino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Blai Alicea, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Narciso Moneo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nazario Sanguino having to interfere. After 56 played minutes Vazquez FC got a freekick which was hit by Kevin Bonachea. An unexpectedly hard shot by Blai Alicea in the 59th minute of play forced Vazquez FC's goalkeeper Nazario Sanguino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cornelio Helica made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dolfos Vicente in the 61st minute of play. Pellas Castells recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Vazquez FC booed when Sayago AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anastasio Guruzeta didn't get a good kick on the ball. 65 minutes into the match, Sayago AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Dolfos Vicente came free, but Cornelio Helica reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cornelio Helica showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dolfos Vicente in the 67th minute of the match. In the 74th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sayago AFC's goalkeeper Cornelio Helica, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Vazquez FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Rudolfo Romaza in the 79th minute. Rudolfo Romaza made a great header on Vazquez FC's corner, it was just that Sayago AFC's Cornelio Helica managed to reach the ball for a save.
