If Llope Aguila had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 9 minutes into the game, Pintos FC's Llope Aguila nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Roger Romaza made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Pintos FC's Peli Cortiguera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dalmau Quiros in the 13th minute of play. Miliano Antoñano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Peli Cortiguera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dalmau Quiros struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Peli Cortiguera didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Buenahora. Peli Cortiguera made an important save on a dangerous shot by Miliano Antoñano in the 27th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Miliano Antoñano got free with Peli Cortiguera in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Roger Romaza didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Osorio Herrera went, in the 36th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Hermelando Cid kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in Buenahora fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 46th minute. Penalty! The referee gave Pintos FC a penalty, 48 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Kusko Basurto, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Buenahora's Roger Romaza. 1-3. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The Buenahora fans' excitement grew in the 55th match minute when Buenahora's Dalmau Quiros looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. If Osorio Herrera had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Osorio Herrera in the 66thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Roger Romaza, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. A collision led to Pintos FC getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Alonzo Manzanedo hit a great ball. When Garaona Saz came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the Buenahora fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Garaona Saz couldn't finish the play. After 78 played minutes Pintos FC got a freekick which was hit by Santio Mondrevilla. The audience was convinced that Llope Aguila's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Roger Romaza was relentless in the 84th minute of the game. Miliano Antoñano blasted a shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Peli Cortiguera having to make a save. Roger Romaza acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 91st minute, took the ball on the long shot from Eztebe Zaldos. Miliano Antoñano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Llope Aguila in the 98th minute of play forced Buenahora's goalkeeper Roger Romaza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Pintos FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Pintos FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
