Alvarez Varez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gervasio FC. In the 9th minute of the match, Zabal Crespo got a very nice opportunity to score, but Goncalve Galarreta was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After a rather tough play, Gervasio FC's Mambru Aoiz got a free kick in the 16th minute. Goncalve Galarreta made an important save on a dangerous shot by Zabal Crespo in the 18th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Gervasio FC's zone, Nazario Valmayor stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Goncalve Galarreta came out of the goal and Nazario Valmayor tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nazario Valmayor in the 29th minute of play forced Gervasio FC's goalkeeper Goncalve Galarreta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alvarez Varez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tano Azaceta in the 30th minute of the match. In the 35th minute, Zabal Crespo fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Alvarez Varez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Socorro Bargas, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Tano Azaceta managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gervasio FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Tano Azaceta was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alvarez Varez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Zabal Crespo got free with Goncalve Galarreta in the 47th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tano Azaceta made a kick off. If Zabal Crespo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The supporters of Gervasio FC booed when Toledo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arnalt Sobrado didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 61st match minute, Toledo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arnalt Sobrado to maneuver through the defense. Alvarez Varez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tano Azaceta in the 63rd minute of the match. Mambru Aoiz kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. If Zabal Crespo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute.
