Prejun Cantillo might have been able to make a better finish in the 3rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alvarez Varez. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Prejun Cantillo ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 6th match minute, Toledo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pablo Villachica to maneuver through the defense. Zabal Crespo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Bieito Villabel was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 19th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. When Nazario Valmayor came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the Toledo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nazario Valmayor couldn't finish the play. 28 minutes into the match, Toledo's goal looked a bit too open when Prejun Cantillo came free, but Alvarez Varez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zabal Crespo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Bras Güell tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 37th minute Zabal Crespo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bras Güell saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 39 minutes into the match, Goni FC's goal looked a bit too open when Nazario Valmayor came free, but Bras Güell reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Barea Guardamiño kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. In the 48th match minute, Toledo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sergio Laurencio to maneuver through the defense.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Prejun Cantillo was the one to do the kick off. Nazario Valmayor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bras Güell having to interfere. Prejun Cantillo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 62 minutes, Arnalt Sobrado mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Toledo and the Goni FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Arnalt Sobrado kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. Gero Pizaño's late challenge caught a Goni FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gero Pizaño helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Toledo's Gero Pizaño got a free kick in the 65th minute. Bras Güell came out of the goal in the 69th minute to try and stop a shot by Toledo's Nazario Valmayor. But to his dismay, Nazario Valmayor quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Zabal Crespo who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 72ndth minute tested the skills of Bras Güell when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Goni FC's Ciriaco Alcedo got a free kick in the 72nd minute. Arnalt Sobrado hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. In the 79th minute, Cresenciano Mardones got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Toledo's Zabal Crespo got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Toledo's Nazario Valmayor got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Zabal Crespos short, quick shot in the 89thth minute got Bras Güell to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. An unexpected shot in the 92nd minute by Zabal Crespo got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Nazario Valmayor kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. When the match was over Toledo could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Goni FC throughout the match.
