Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Nacho Villanueva showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Patricio Vazan in the 4th minute of the match. Patricio Vazan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Nacho Villanueva tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 7 minutes into the match, Buceo FC's goal looked a bit too open when Eutropio Huarte came free, but Nacho Villanueva reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Patricio Vazan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nacho Villanueva was relentless in the 8th minute of the game. Telmo Surga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Ipar Seracoyz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eutropio Huarte fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nacho Villanueva having to interfere. Nacho Villanueva showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eutropio Huarte, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Patricio Vazan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Varese's supporters rose to their feet, but Patricio Vazan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nacho Villanueva breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After some careless play in the Buceo FC defense, Patricio Vazan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nacho Villanueva. The Buceo FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nacho Villanueva should have stopped the shot. Telmo Surga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Ipar Seracoyz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 31 minutes into the match, Telmo Surga had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ipar Seracoyz. Varese's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Telmo Surga was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Telmo Surga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Ipar Seracoyz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Perpinya Sanabria hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. In the 44thth minute of the game Patricio Vazan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Buceo FC's Nacho Villanueva was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Varese's Perpinya Sanabria got a free kick in the 47th minute. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jose Inchaurdi was the one to do the kick off. Patricio Vazan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nacho Villanueva having to interfere. In the 55th minute, Telmo Surga left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Buceo FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Estevon Arcaya charged in rather forcefully in the 58th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Estevon Arcaya the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 58th minute, Estevon Arcaya hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Patricio Vazan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 62nd minute of the match, but Nacho Villanueva made a huge save. Eutropio Huarte received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Nacho Villanueva tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Laurentzi Zuzuarregui hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. Eutropio Huarte recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jose Inchaurdi in the 77th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ipar Seracoyz saved Varese from getting behind. Palban Miñano hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. If Jose Inchaurdi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a defensive mix-up in Buceo FC's zone, Eutropio Huarte stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nacho Villanueva came out of the goal and Eutropio Huarte tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Patricio Vazan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 91st minute of the match, but Nacho Villanueva made a huge save. When Eutropio Huarte came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Varese fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eutropio Huarte couldn't finish the play. 96 minutes into the match, Buceo FC's Telmo Surga sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ipar Seracoyz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of Buceo FC booed when Varese was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Perpinya Sanabria didn't get a good kick on the ball. Buceo FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Varese for a fine match.
