After a rather tough play, Taruman's Luisito Viejo got a free kick in the 10th minute. After 15 minutes, Sergio Rabanal made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Taruman's Bruno Collantes tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 19th match minute, Mercedes FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Inaki Encio to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 19 minutes, Florencio Valdeliso managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Taruman's supporters crossed their fingers, but Florencio Valdeliso was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Leoiar Yturrondo in the 21st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Xoan Salinas prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Beturian Borrellino took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 25th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Bruno Collantes. Taruman's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Florencio Valdeliso in the 27th minute of play forced Mercedes FC's goalkeeper Xoan Salinas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Armando Ugarte kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. Xoan Salinas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leoiar Yturrondo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Taruman fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bruno Collantes should have stopped the shot. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The audience thought it was a sure goal in the 90th minute, when Taruman's Hustaz Canillas after having done a great run through the defense got himself free with Xoan Salinas in Mercedes FC's goal and fired away a shot, but it missed the goal by a fraction of an inch. Florencio Valdeliso in the 97thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Xoan Salinas, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save.
