The audience was convinced that Desire Rocandia's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Xoan Salinas was relentless in the 19th minute of the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bernal Berdu in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Astigar Ascarraga prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Astigar Ascarraga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bernal Berdu in the 34th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Mercedes FC's Inaki Encio got a free kick in the 35th minute. In the 38th minute the ball was on its way in behind Mercedes FC's goalkeeper Xoan Salinas, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.
