Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Misael Bettencourt started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Canas FC's Danel Porras played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gabino Malpica in the 3rd minute of play. Mendizabal AFC's Charro Gala proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 6th minute of the match, managed to save Mendizabal AFC from getting a goal against them. 8 minutes into the game, Ostots Abaurre cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Charro Gala was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 11 played minutes Mendizabal AFC got a freekick which was hit by Dagoberto Macon. Sidro Vialpando, 12 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Ostots Abaurre sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mendizabal AFC's Isidro Perramon got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Horado Reyero's late challenge caught a Mendizabal AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Horado Reyero helped the player get up and apologised. In the 25th minute, Horado Reyero hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 26 minutes into the game, Gabino Malpica cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Danel Porras was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Misael Bettencourt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Misael Bettencourt struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Charro Gala didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Canas FC. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isidro Perramon in the 41st minute of play forced Canas FC's goalkeeper Danel Porras to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 46th match minute, Mendizabal AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dagoberto Macon to maneuver through the defense.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gabino Malpica to strike the kick off in the second half. Sidro Vialpando hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Danel Porras acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 53rd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Foro Izaran. Isidro Perramon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 58th minute Misael Bettencourt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Charro Gala saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Ostots Abaurre had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Isidro Perramon blasted a shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Danel Porras having to make a save. When Misael Bettencourt came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the Canas FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Misael Bettencourt couldn't finish the play. Charro Gala took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ostots Abaurre, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ostots Abaurre sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 85 minutes, Misael Bettencourt managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Canas FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Misael Bettencourt was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gabino Malpica sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 93rd minute, one of Mendizabal AFC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Mendizabal AFC. In the 95th minute there was a penalty for Canas FC. Sidro Vialpando stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Charro Gala. 2-1. In the 98th minute Gabino Malpica shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Danel Porras saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Canas FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Mendizabal AFC for a fine match.
