Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Simao Marques started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. 3 minutes into the match, Sayago FC's goalkeeper Lartaun Hiriart had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Inocente Mondragon. 5 minutes into the match, Sayago FC's goal looked a bit too open when Simao Marques came free, but Lartaun Hiriart reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Inocente Mondragon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lartaun Hiriart having to interfere. Lartaun Hiriart took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Simao Marques, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gomez Bien sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gomez Bien in the 18th minute of play forced Polanco AFC's goalkeeper Santxo Ricaredo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Hermengildo Parte had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Santxo Ricaredo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hermengildo Parte, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gomez Bien recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Lartaun Hiriart showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Simao Marques, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Santxo Ricaredo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gomez Bien in the 35th minute of the match. Gomez Bien received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Santxo Ricaredo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lartaun Hiriart made a fantastic save in the 48th minute, when Andres Arandajo sent off a good shot on target. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Hermengildo Parte stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the Sayago FC defense, Simao Marques kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lartaun Hiriart. The Sayago FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lartaun Hiriart should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, Polanco AFC's Derwin Mendivil got a free kick in the 57th minute. After having played for 59 minutes, Simao Marques managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Polanco AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Simao Marques was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Simao Marques received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Lartaun Hiriart tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 71st minute Simao Marques shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lartaun Hiriart saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Inocente Mondragon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Polanco AFC's zone, Hermengildo Parte stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Santxo Ricaredo came out of the goal and Hermengildo Parte tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 78th minute Hermengildo Parte shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Santxo Ricaredo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Inocente Mondragon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lartaun Hiriart having to interfere. In the 81st minute the ball was on its way in behind Sayago FC's goalkeeper Lartaun Hiriart, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Hermengildo Parte received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Santxo Ricaredo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 88th minute, Cruz Oneca hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Peyo Rubi was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 89th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. After 91 minutes of play, Polanco AFC's Simao Marques made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lartaun Hiriart was left in no man's land by his defense there! Pudes Courel's late challenge caught a Polanco AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Pudes Courel helped the player get up and apologised. In the 95th minute, Pudes Courel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
