Cesar Abarca made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Celso Rapado in the 3rd minute of play. Argoitz Cimas struck a weak shot in the 10th minute. Eustacio Llago didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Barrancas AFC. Barrancas AFC's Cesar Abarca played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Celso Rapado in the 13th minute of play. Cesar Abarca made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Celso Rapado in the 15th minute of play. Paio Alzola hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Celso Rapado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Barrancas AFC:s Cesar Abarca showed great skill when he stopped Barros Abreu:s penalty. In the 20th minute, Barros Abreu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Corrales fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Celso Rapado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Peter Landeta in the 26th minute of play forced Corrales's goalkeeper Eustacio Llago to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Argoitz Cimas who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 33rdth minute tested the skills of Eustacio Llago when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Argoitz Cimas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Barrancas AFC's zone, Freddy Orbea stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cesar Abarca came out of the goal and Freddy Orbea tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Freddy Orbea in the 49th minute of play forced Barrancas AFC's goalkeeper Cesar Abarca to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After the first half Corrales were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Peter Landeta to make the kick off. After some careless play in the Corrales defense, Argoitz Cimas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Eustacio Llago. The Corrales fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Eustacio Llago should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, Corrales's Freddy Orbea got a free kick in the 57th minute. Eustacio Llago showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Peter Landeta, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Celso Rapado was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 64th minute. Corrales's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. If Celso Rapado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Corrales's Eustacio Llago played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Peter Landeta in the 68th minute of play. The long shot by Guter Aranzabe in the 71st minute really tested Cesar Abarca's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. If Celso Rapado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eustacio Llago made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Peter Landeta in the 79th minute of play. Eustacio Llago showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Peter Landeta, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. After a rather tough play, Barrancas AFC's Montel Tapia got a free kick in the 85th minute. Celso Rapado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cesar Abarca having to interfere. With a little luck, Barrancas AFC's Cesar Abarca got control of the ball when Matias Vierna tried to sneak it across the goal line. Corrales were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Barrancas AFC to leave the ground with a draw.
