Lizbeth Amondo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Orlandus Cardeños having to interfere. 8 minutes into the match, Fagundez FC's goal looked a bit too open when Lizbeth Amondo came free, but Orlandus Cardeños reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Guilllermo Beyso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lizbeth Amondo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Orlandus Cardeños having to make a save. Lizbeth Amondo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Orlandus Cardeños tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Orlandus Cardeños stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Guilllermo Beyso's shot from short distance in the 17th minute. Ysidro Zorrilla fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arano Echeguren having to interfere. Victorino Muga who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 22ndth minute tested the skills of Arano Echeguren when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 27 minutes into the match, Darwin's Lizbeth Amondo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Orlandus Cardeños narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Darwin's Guilllermo Beyso got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 39th minute the ball was on its way in behind Fagundez FC's goalkeeper Orlandus Cardeños, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Lizbeth Amondo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Orlandus Cardeños having to interfere. 42 minutes into the game, Javier Arganza was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Fagundez FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Darwin the free kick. Javier Arganza hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. 45 minutes had been played when some careless play by Fagundez FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Mane Marin was slow to take the kick. During this time Darwin's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Mane Marin almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Fagundez FC's Orlandus Cardeños did a great save. In the 46th minute Guilllermo Beyso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Orlandus Cardeños saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 48th minute, Ysidro Zorrilla managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fagundez FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ysidro Zorrilla was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arano Echeguren breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Guilllermo Beyso made the kick off in the second half. Lizbeth Amondo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Victorino Muga charged in rather forcefully in the 66th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Victorino Muga the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Victorino Muga hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. Guilllermo Beyso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Orlandus Cardeños tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Victorino Muga got in the 74th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Arano Echeguren handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. If Guilllermo Beyso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Guilllermo Beyso recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fagundez FC's Orlandus Cardeños played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roi Oseguera in the 84th minute of play. Lizbeth Amondo succeeded in the game's 87th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-2. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Guilllermo Beyso managed to get in a good position for a shot. Darwin's supporters rose to their feet, but Guilllermo Beyso was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Orlandus Cardeños breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Fagundez FC's zone, Guilllermo Beyso stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Orlandus Cardeños came out of the goal and Guilllermo Beyso tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Orlandus Cardeños made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Guilllermo Beyso in the 96th minute of play. Darwin played a much better game than Fagundez FC and deserved their victory. The Fagundez FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
