With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lalla Almiron in the 4th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Giro Dimas saved Porvenir from getting behind. Xinto Almansa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Bikendi Alaejos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Giro Dimas was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 8th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Ur Via. With a little luck, Porvenir's Giro Dimas got control of the ball when Cristo Fermoso tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Xinto Almansa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Porvenir's supporters rose to their feet, but Xinto Almansa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bikendi Alaejos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 20 minutes into the game, Birjaio Moyua was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Zabal Caldevilla was slow to take the kick. During this time Mourino's players had a chance to rest. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Porvenir's Giro Dimas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lalla Almiron in the 58th minute of play. Giro Dimas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lalla Almiron, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Porvenir's Giro Dimas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Laurentzi Goyeneta in the 67th minute of play. In the 67th minute, Laurentzi Goyeneta ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Giro Dimas was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. In the 77th minute, Ysmael Buruaga reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Bikendi Alaejos. The goal made the score 1-2.
