In the 4th minute, Romulo Abella reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Giro Dimas. The goal made the score 1-0. If Ysmael Buruaga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jorge Vilamajo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 15th minute of the match, but Giro Dimas made a huge save. When Sosa AFC's Romulo Abella in the 22nd minute got a chance for a shot 22nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Porvenir's goalie prevented a goal. Guillermo Anievas's late challenge caught a Porvenir's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Guillermo Anievas helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Sosa AFC getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Guillermo Anievas hit a great ball. In the 29th match minute, Porvenir was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ysmael Buruaga to maneuver through the defense. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Beltran Cascallana during the 32nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 32nd minute, Beltran Cascallana hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Paz Fondos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ysmael Buruaga in the 37th minute of the match. Jorge Vilamajo received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Giro Dimas came out and tried to block the shot, but Jorge Vilamajo slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 39th minute. With a little luck, Porvenir's Giro Dimas got control of the ball when Jorge Vilamajo tried to sneak it across the goal line. 44 minutes into the match, Porvenir's Ysmael Buruaga sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Paz Fondos narrowly saved just below the crossbar. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ysmael Buruaga was the one to do the kick off. 54 minutes into the match, Jorge Vilamajo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Giro Dimas. Porvenir's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jorge Vilamajo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. Romulo Abella received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Giro Dimas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jorge Vilamajo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 60 minutes, Estavan Rabanera mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Porvenir and the Sosa AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 60th minute of the game. One of Porvenir:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Sosa AFC:s goal. The Sosa AFC fans' excitement grew in the 66th match minute when Sosa AFC's Romulo Abella looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 5-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Txartiko Baldes kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. Enmanuel Velo charged in rather forcefully in the 74th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Enmanuel Velo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Sosa AFC booed when Porvenir was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Enmanuel Velo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Estavan Rabanera hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. 81 minutes into the match, Sosa AFC's Jorge Vilamajo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Giro Dimas narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Sosa AFC had won after a very even match.
