Bermudo Miña kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. Eguzki Cortina fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Canor Medina having to interfere. 11 minutes into the match, Chapicuy's goalkeeper Canor Medina had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Eguzki Cortina. Eguzki Cortina hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. Eguzki Cortina's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Canor Medina read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 19th minute of play. Domenec Brena showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Remigio Guate, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Loco Ferreiro hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Pellas Digon, 22 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Chapicuy's Grabiel Palomares got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Chapicuy booed when Joanico was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Azibar Madrazo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Remigio Guate sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Joanico getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Lorenz Larrangos hit a great ball. When Remigio Guate came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the Chapicuy fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Remigio Guate couldn't finish the play. In the 34th minute Remigio Guate shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Domenec Brena saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Canor Medina stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Delmar Nadal's shot from short distance in the 38th minute. Grabiel Palomares sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Mirande Andonegui kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. In the 67th minute, Chapicuy's Bermudo Miña seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Bermudo Miña the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Chapicuy protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Bermudo Miña had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 66th minute, one of Chapicuy:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Chapicuy. In the 69th minute there was a penalty for Joanico. Arturo Andrade stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Canor Medina. 1-0. Delmar Nadal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Canor Medina tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Grabiel Palomares could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but Domenec Brena made a huge save. The supporters of Joanico booed when Chapicuy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arano Brau didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eguzki Cortina sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
