Vincente Lasso kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. When Manolo Brunet fell near the penalty area in the 15th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pinchazo FC's protests and gave Manolo Brunet a yellow card for diving instead. In the 15th minute, Manolo Brunet hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The corner led Pinchazo FC's Xzavaier Peral to fire away a dangerous shot which Xepe Bezares despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After the first half Masoller AFC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Manolo Brunet was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Matthew Tio in the 52nd minute of play forced Pinchazo FC's goalkeeper Evarado Ahedo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Matthew Tio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pinchazo FC's Evarado Ahedo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 74th minute of the match, managed to save Pinchazo FC from getting a goal against them. After some careless play in the Masoller AFC defense, Manolo Brunet kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Xepe Bezares. The Masoller AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Xepe Bezares should have stopped the shot. Masoller AFC's Albano Udias got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Kemen Almazan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Evarado Ahedo having to interfere.
