After a defensive mix-up in Santiago's zone, Xzavaier Peral stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Precioso Ruidiaz came out of the goal and Xzavaier Peral tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Manolo Brunet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 13th minute Manolo Brunet shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Precioso Ruidiaz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 22 minutes into the match, Pinchazo FC's Manolo Brunet sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Precioso Ruidiaz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Rufo Cordoba fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Evarado Ahedo having to interfere. When Pinchazo FC's Manolo Brunet in the 34th minute got a chance for a shot 34th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Otsando Olmedilla received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Precioso Ruidiaz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rufo Cordoba fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Evarado Ahedo having to interfere. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The wind increased when Manolo Brunet made the kick off in the second half. Emeterio Cabaña fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Evarado Ahedo having to interfere. In the 59th minute, Manolo Brunet made a precise shot to the right of Precioso Ruidiaz. Santiago's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Pirro Baz kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. Vincente Lasso charged in rather forcefully in the 69th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Vincente Lasso the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 69 played minutes Pinchazo FC got a freekick which was hit by Vincente Lasso. After a rather tough play, Santiago's Samuel Turres got a free kick in the 73rd minute. In the 74th minute of the match Xzavaier Peral sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Precioso Ruidiaz skillfully saved the ball. The supporters of Pinchazo FC booed when Santiago was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Millan Ezquibela didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Manolo Brunet in the 82nd minute of play forced Santiago's goalkeeper Precioso Ruidiaz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Santiago's Emeterio Cabaña in the 85th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Evarado Ahedo was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Pinchazo FC through an amazing save. 87 minutes into the match, Rufo Cordoba had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Evarado Ahedo. Pinchazo FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rufo Cordoba was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. Rufo Cordoba struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Evarado Ahedo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Santiago.
