In the 7thth minute of the game Frisco Jaquinot who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Camano's Che Calonge was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Frisco Jaquinot fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Che Calonge having to interfere. Buricayupi FC's Iker Romerano got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 13th minute Inacio Cubas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Che Calonge saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 13th match minute, Camano was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Salbatore Valdeliso to maneuver through the defense. In the 15th minute, Frisco Jaquinot got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Frisco Jaquinot ran back to his position shaking his head. With a little luck, Buricayupi FC's Angelino Valenciaga got control of the ball when Vitin Mauriz tried to sneak it across the goal line. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The Camano fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Angelino Valenciaga took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Piearres Piñeira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Camano's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Buricayupi FC the free kick. Camano's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
