Ambrosio Roda stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ondino Hervias's shot from short distance in the 4th minute. Sanchez Bustio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Xzaver Conchas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Angel Flayre struck a weak shot in the 7th minute. Xzaver Conchas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Riachuelo. Tadeo Orgaz's late challenge caught a Riachuelo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tadeo Orgaz helped the player get up and apologised. Tadeo Orgaz kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. After recieving a nice pass, Riachuelo's Felo Hermosa tried to score from far away in the 9th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Angel Flayre in the 11th minute of play forced Trigo AFC's goalkeeper Xzaver Conchas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Riachuelo's Ambrosio Roda played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Melchor Baelo in the 21st minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sanchez Bustio got free with Xzaver Conchas in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, Trigo AFC's Xzaver Conchas got control of the ball when Sanchez Bustio tried to sneak it across the goal line. Angel Flayre fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Xzaver Conchas having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Melchor Baelo in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ambrosio Roda prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 40 minutes into the match, Riachuelo's goal looked a bit too open when Ondino Hervias came free, but Ambrosio Roda reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 46 minutes into the match, Melchor Baelo notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Riachuelo's Ambrosio Roda. Ambrosio Roda was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Melchor Baelo made a kick off. Kismi Gandarias charged in rather forcefully in the 53rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Kismi Gandarias the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 53rd minute, one of Trigo AFC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Trigo AFC. The referee gave Riachuelo a penalty, 55 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Felo Hermosa, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Trigo AFC's Xzaver Conchas. 1-1. Ambrosio Roda made a fantastic save in the 59th minute, when Ondino Hervias sent off a good shot on target. 60 minutes into the match, Riachuelo's goalkeeper Ambrosio Roda had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ondino Hervias. If Sanchez Bustio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Angel Flayre might have been able to make a better finish in the 73rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Xzaver Conchas. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Angel Flayre ran back to his position shaking his head. After 75 played minutes Riachuelo got a freekick which was hit by Oxel Gipils. In the 77th minute, Sanchez Bustio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Joaquin Seseña kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. Melchor Baelo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ambrosio Roda made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ondino Hervias in the 96th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joaquin Seseña in the 99th minute of play forced Riachuelo's goalkeeper Ambrosio Roda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
