Carrasco's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Novillos AFC the free kick. In a very dangerous position, a player in Carrasco fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 5th minute. Penalty! The goalkeeper, Napier Orgera, was totally fooled by Novillos AFC's Tebaldo Arainz, who 6 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. When Carrasco's Tohias Azurmendi in the 9th minute got a chance for a shot 9th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Novillos AFC's goalie prevented a goal. Cordarrol Principe kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. Iratzeder Barrasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tohias Azurmendi in the 11th minute of play. Novillos AFC's Froila Sarabia got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Frutos Quijano managed to get in a good position for a shot. Novillos AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Frutos Quijano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Napier Orgera breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Iratzeder Barrasa didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tohias Azurmendi went, in the 18th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. If Ciro Tazon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 24 minutes into the match, Carrasco's goal looked a bit too open when Frutos Quijano came free, but Napier Orgera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Novillos AFC booed when Carrasco was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aristides Ruy didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 30th match minute, Carrasco was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Peli Yugueros to maneuver through the defense. Tohias Azurmendi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iratzeder Barrasa having to interfere. Cordarrol Principe hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. In the 41st minute, Ciro Tazon got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Tohias Azurmendi struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Iratzeder Barrasa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Carrasco. Carrasco's Ciro Tazon got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tohias Azurmendi in the 47th minute of play forced Novillos AFC's goalkeeper Iratzeder Barrasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.
Cordarrol Principe's late challenge caught a Carrasco's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cordarrol Principe helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Carrasco booed when Novillos AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cordarrol Principe didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tohias Azurmendi succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-2 in the 57th playminute. Thanks to some nice moves Tohias Azurmendi could shoot a difficult shot in the 62nd minute, which Iratzeder Barrasa however easily saved by the left post. Carrasco's Napier Orgera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Froila Sarabia in the 64th minute of play. After having played for 67 minutes, Frutos Quijano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Novillos AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Frutos Quijano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Carrasco's zone, Froila Sarabia stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Napier Orgera came out of the goal and Froila Sarabia tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Froila Sarabia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Napier Orgera having to interfere. 77 minutes into the match, Frutos Quijano notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Carrasco's Napier Orgera. Napier Orgera was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 83rd minute, Carrasco's Ciro Tazon dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-3. Frutos Quijano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Napier Orgera having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tohias Azurmendi got free with Iratzeder Barrasa in the 92nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Ciro Tazon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Carrasco supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Carrasco would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
