Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Erlantz Orengo started the match with the kick off. After 3 played minutes, Buricayupi AFC's Adriana Mosquera shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Gomez Llantaron came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Buricayupi AFC reached it. Gomez Llantaron showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Damaso Bocos, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. When Endira Pose came up free with the goalie in the 8th minute, the Buricayupi AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Endira Pose couldn't finish the play. Cerrito's Gomez Llantaron proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 11th minute of the match, managed to save Cerrito from getting a goal against them. After having played for 19 minutes, Damaso Bocos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Buricayupi AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Damaso Bocos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 21st minute, Damaso Bocos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Aurken Baeza kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. Endira Pose who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 30thth minute tested the skills of Gomez Llantaron when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 32nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Cerrito's goalkeeper Gomez Llantaron, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Gomez Llantaron made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Damaso Bocos in the 33rd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Endira Pose managed to get in a good position for a shot. Buricayupi AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Endira Pose was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gomez Llantaron breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 40 minutes into the match, Buricayupi AFC's Damaso Bocos sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gomez Llantaron narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Damaso Bocos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gomez Llantaron having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Cerrito's zone, Endira Pose stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gomez Llantaron came out of the goal and Endira Pose tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gomez Llantaron was a little too slow when Damaso Bocos got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 47th minute. The score was now 1-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Damaso Bocos stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 59 played minutes Cerrito got a freekick which was hit by Ricardo Latonero. Dagoberto Puertas made a fantastic save in the 61st minute, when Aurken Baeza sent off a good shot on target. Erlantz Orengo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dagoberto Puertas having to interfere. Buricayupi AFC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
