The supporters of Curtina AFC booed when Esperanza AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Baladi Losua didn't get a good kick on the ball. Froylan Loureiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Medero Castroverde in the 24th minute of the match. Froylan Loureiro made a fantastic save in the 83rd minute, when Baladi Losua sent off a good shot on target. If Baladi Losua had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Martxelin Quemada charged in rather forcefully in the 85th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Martxelin Quemada the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 85 played minutes Curtina AFC got a freekick which was hit by Martxelin Quemada. Baladi Losua might have been able to make a better finish in the 88th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Froylan Loureiro. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Baladi Losua ran back to his position shaking his head. Froylan Loureiro was out of position in the 89 minute of play, and Medero Castroverde capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Medero Castroverde really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. Esperanza AFC's Baladi Losua got a good chance for a goal in the 98th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
