Martinez Mazuelos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 25 minutes into the match, Mosquitos's goalkeeper Tano Lomba had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Porfiro Cuadra. Tano Lomba made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Giro Bances in the 27th minute of play. Andres Adarzo succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 32nd playminute. A collision led to Aguada getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Haimar Silvestri hit a great ball. Palos Rozas struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. Martinez Mazuelos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mosquitos. Angelino Curiel's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Martinez Mazuelos read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 40th minute of play. Martinez Mazuelos stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Angelino Curiel's shot from short distance in the 43rd minute.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Palos Rozas made a kick off. In the 53rd minute, Aguada's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Angelino Curiel fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Giro Bances kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. 78 minutes into the game, Leoncio Morillas was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Aguada's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mosquitos the free kick. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
