Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Lastur Noriega kicked off to start the match. After a rather tough play, Merinos AFC's Simao Ayon got a free kick in the 2nd minute. In the 4thth minute of the game Xulio Payno who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Merinos AFC's Baiarte Solarriba was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Xulio Payno fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Baiarte Solarriba having to interfere. Satordi Cayado could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 9th minute of the match, but Angelo Buruaga made a huge save. The supporters of Arevalo FC booed when Merinos AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tono Ason didn't get a good kick on the ball. Arevalo FC's Xulio Payno got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Angelo Buruaga made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Satordi Cayado sent off a good shot on target. Satordi Cayado recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 32nd play minutes Lastur Noriega shot 1-1, a short shot which went by Baiarte Solarriba and just under the crossbar into goal. After 37 minutes, Socorro Basurto mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Arevalo FC and the Merinos AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Arevalo FC's Socorro Basurto got a free kick in the 37th minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Baiarte Solarriba showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lastur Noriega in the 51st minute of the match. Xulio Payno received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Baiarte Solarriba tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 55 minutes into the match, Merinos AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Lastur Noriega came free, but Baiarte Solarriba reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Baiarte Solarriba showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lastur Noriega in the 57th minute of the match. Xulio Payno sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lastur Noriega received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Baiarte Solarriba tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Lastur Noriega had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With his leg Baiarte Solarriba managed to avoid a goal in the 70thth minute, when Arevalo FC's Xulio Payno fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Satordi Cayado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 75 minutes into the match, Merinos AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Lastur Noriega came free, but Baiarte Solarriba reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Merinos AFC's Satordi Cayado in the 81st minute got a chance for a shot 81st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Arevalo FC's goalie prevented a goal. Satordi Cayado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Angelo Buruaga having to interfere. In the 96th minute Lastur Noriega shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Baiarte Solarriba saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Merinos AFC had won after a very even match.
