Andresito AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Senen Chapa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Urdaspal Palomeque breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 45th minute, Quinito Sepulveda got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Eguzki Villascuerna to make the kick off. In the 53rd minute Eguzki Villascuerna shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Blai Davalillo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Quinito Sepulveda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Andresito AFC getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Henrico Zaldo hit a great ball.
