If Fliz Briñas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 24th minute Fliz Briñas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mannie Achaque saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 27 minutes into the game, Piedras FC's Lizar Mascaran nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Michael Lagunilla made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Pavon AFC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Lizar Gorbin in the 31st minute. Piedras FC's Mannie Achaque played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Celedonio Arana in the 34th minute of play. Lizar Mascaran sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Pavon AFC getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Lourenco Rubayo hit a great ball. Michael Lagunilla showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zelipe Camudio, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. After having played for 43 minutes, Zelipe Camudio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Piedras FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zelipe Camudio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Fliz Briñas was the one to do the kick off. In the 56th minute, Celedonio Arana made a precise shot to the right of Mannie Achaque. Piedras FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Michael Lagunilla took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lizar Mascaran, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lizar Mascaran sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Zelipe Camudio's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Michael Lagunilla read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 63rd minute of play. Michael Lagunilla showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zelipe Camudio in the 68th minute of the match. In the 71st minute Zelipe Camudio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Michael Lagunilla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Piedras FC getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Gaspar Aleson hit a great ball. 76 minutes in the game, Celedonio Arana fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Mannie Achaque having to interfere. Mannie Achaque made an important save on a dangerous shot by Celedonio Arana in the 78th minute. In the 90th minute, Lizar Mascaran got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Zelipe Camudio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Michael Lagunilla having to interfere. Lizar Mascaran recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
