Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Ikatz Rancaño started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. 2 minutes into the game, one of Arapey FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Eloi Orbañanos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Javier Ulibarri, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 16 minutes into the match, Arapey FC's goal looked a bit too open when Vicente Echandi came free, but Balasi Montalvo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A hard shot 17 in the game by Vicente Echandi from a close distance when the talented Balasi Montalvo managed to make a qualified save. Arapey FC's players were relieved. If Ikatz Rancaño had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 20th match minute, Savago was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Donio Vinyals to maneuver through the defense. Arapey FC's Javier Ulibarri got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 22 minutes into the game, Simao Rujido was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Arapey FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Savago the free kick. The supporters of Savago booed when Arapey FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Simao Rujido didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eloi Orbañanos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ikatz Rancaño in the 24th minute of the match. Ikatz Rancaño sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ronaldo Panizo in the 29th minute of play forced Arapey FC's goalkeeper Balasi Montalvo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 34 minutes, Ronaldo Panizo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Savago's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ronaldo Panizo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Savago's Eloi Orbañanos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ikatz Rancaño in the 39th minute of play. Eloi Orbañanos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Javier Ulibarri in the 42nd minute of play. If Cordarin Piñera had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ronaldo Panizo was the one to do the kick off. If Ikatz Rancaño had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vicente Echandi might have been able to make a better finish in the 54th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Balasi Montalvo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Vicente Echandi ran back to his position shaking his head. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Ronaldo Panizo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Savago's supporters rose to their feet, but Ronaldo Panizo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Balasi Montalvo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Vicente Echandi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Balasi Montalvo having to interfere. In the 64th match minute, Savago was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Saturnin Llano to maneuver through the defense. Lop Jaraba's late challenge caught a Arapey FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lop Jaraba helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Savago getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Lop Jaraba hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Arapey FC's Javier Ulibarri got a free kick in the 69th minute. Arapey FC's Balasi Montalvo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vicente Echandi in the 75th minute of play. Ronaldo Panizo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Eloi Orbañanos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ikatz Rancaño in the 83rd minute of play. In the 83rd minute, Cordarin Piñera had to leave the field with a concussion. Lop Jaraba got his second yellow card in the match during the 83rd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. The supporters of Arapey FC booed when Savago was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lop Jaraba didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 88th match minute, Savago was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ronaldo Panizo to maneuver through the defense.
