The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ostargi Ricoy during the 12th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Correa AFC getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Ostargi Ricoy hit a great ball. With an all-out effort, Conciliacion FC's Demario Pola threw himself towards the right post 13 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Nofre Castella, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 20 minutes into the game, Cordarin Caldera was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Correa AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Conciliacion FC the free kick. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 19th minute of the game. One of Correa AFC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Conciliacion FC:s goal. When the match had been going on for 21 minutes, Conciliacion FC's Nahia Barquin got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Demario Pola. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nofre Castella in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Demario Pola saved Correa AFC from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in Conciliacion FC's zone, Severo Lima stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Xurde Barriola came out of the goal and Severo Lima tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Urki Candana fell near the penalty area in the 38th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Conciliacion FC's protests and gave Urki Candana a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Conciliacion FC's Urki Candana got a free kick in the 38th minute. Txindoki Arejola struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Demario Pola didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Conciliacion FC. After a rather tough play, Correa AFC's Severo Lima got a free kick in the 45th minute. Nofre Castella sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Rameriz Cabaña's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Demario Pola read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 68th minute of play. It seemed to be an obvious goal in the 79th minute, but Xurde Barriola got his fingers on the ball or the save, leaving Conciliacion FC hanging dry this time. Correa AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Columbo Baamonde was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Xurde Barriola breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
