Montae Froiz helped the player get up and apologised. Lopes Combarros charged in rather forcefully in the 20th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lopes Combarros the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Mendizabal booed when Pedernal FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lopes Combarros didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gamus Letatu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Isidoro Villavicencio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 25th minute of play. Cisco Basurto made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. In the 41st minute, Gaitan Burcena got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Humberto Urria's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cisco Basurto read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 44th minute of play. 46 minutes into the game, Erasmo Ziarza was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mendizabal's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pedernal FC the free kick. But to his dismay, Humberto Urria quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Lopes Combarros kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. In the 63rd match minute, Pedernal FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bernard Paternina to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Stephen Agüero managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mendizabal's supporters rose to their feet, but Stephen Agüero was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Isidoro Villavicencio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gaitan Burcena during the 71st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Gamus Letatu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Isidoro Villavicencio having to interfere. In the 74th minute Stephen Agüero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Isidoro Villavicencio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 75 minutes, Isidoro Villavicencio successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Pedernal FC's Isidoro Villavicencio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 88th minute of the match, managed to save Pedernal FC from getting a goal against them. Cisco Basurto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Humberto Urria, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pedernal FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
