The audience was convinced that Israel Manglano's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bazil Perero was relentless in the 35th minute of the game. After a defensive mix-up in Curticeras's zone, Israel Manglano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bazil Perero came out of the goal and Israel Manglano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Curticeras's Rio Gonzales in the 44th minute got a chance for a shot 44th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Trinidad's goalie prevented a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Trinidad's zone, Rio Gonzales stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Montxo Ledesma came out of the goal and Rio Gonzales tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Rio Gonzales to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Patricio Becerra left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Curticeras fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. If Patricio Becerra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 63 minutes into the match, Israel Manglano dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Bazil Perero, 2-1. Guilllermo Lledias's late challenge caught a Trinidad's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Guilllermo Lledias helped the player get up and apologised. Guilllermo Lledias kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. Israel Manglano struck a weak shot in the 69th minute. Bazil Perero didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Trinidad. With an all-out effort, Trinidad's Bazil Perero threw himself towards the right post 72 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Israel Manglano, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Mateus Tosantos succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-2 in the 74th playminute. Mateus Tosantos scored 2-3 in the 77th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bazil Perero, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rio Gonzales in the 89th minute of play forced Trinidad's goalkeeper Montxo Ledesma to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Patricio Becerra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Trinidad supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Trinidad would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
