Spectators: 37 (Terracing: 29, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Dominic Ludueña made the kick off which started today's match. After a defensive mix-up in Echevarria's zone, Dominic Ludueña stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Esquipula Betolaza came out of the goal and Dominic Ludueña tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lopes Avendaño in the 6th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Guaberto Gual prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 11 minutes of play, Echevarria's Lopes Avendaño made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Guaberto Gual was left in no man's land by his defense there! Lico Rigual kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. In the 23rd match minute, Chamizo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Urdaspal Lobelo to maneuver through the defense. Lopes Avendaño blasted a shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Guaberto Gual having to make a save. Guaberto Gual stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lopes Avendaño's shot from short distance in the 27th minute. If Lopes Avendaño had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Lopes Avendaño struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Guaberto Gual didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Echevarria. When the match clock showed 32 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Lopes Avendaño sped through Chamizo's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Guaberto Gual. Rocendo Fornell sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Guaberto Gual made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lopes Avendaño in the 40th minute of play. After 47th play minutes Lopes Avendaño shot 0-5, a short shot which went by Guaberto Gual and just under the crossbar into goal. Disappointed in the 0-5 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Lopes Avendaño made a kick off. Rocendo Fornell sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A hard shot 58 in the game by Lopes Avendaño from a close distance when the talented Guaberto Gual managed to make a qualified save. Chamizo's players were relieved. Rocendo Fornell recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 64 minutes into the match, Echevarria's Pellas Meldasgoas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Guaberto Gual narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Lopes Avendaño's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 66thth minute, Guaberto Gual skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After having played for 69 minutes, Lopes Avendaño managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Echevarria's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lopes Avendaño was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Rocendo Fornell was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 70th minute. Echevarria's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. 72 minutes into the match, Chamizo's goalkeeper Guaberto Gual had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lopes Avendaño. Lopes Avendaño in the 75thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Guaberto Gual, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Guaberto Gual made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lopes Avendaño in the 76th minute. A hard shot 81 in the game by Lopes Avendaño from a close distance when the talented Guaberto Gual managed to make a qualified save. Chamizo's players were relieved. In the 87th minute, Lico Rigual hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 94 minutes into the game, Urdaspal Lobelo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Chamizo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Echevarria the free kick. The supporters of Echevarria booed when Chamizo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Urdaspal Lobelo didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Chamizo fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Echevarria were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
