Montrelle Ceballos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Henrik Löv, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Henrik Löv in the 6th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Montrelle Ceballos saved Merinos FC from getting behind. After 8 played minutes Merinos FC got a freekick which was hit by Rio Yerro. Merinos FC's Montrelle Ceballos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andrew Hallam in the 9th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Henrik Löv in the 10th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Montrelle Ceballos prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Rafal Czysta took the ball and in the 16 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Montrelle Ceballos. Montrelle Ceballos dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Henrik Löv in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Montrelle Ceballos saved Merinos FC from getting behind. The supporters of Robert Nesta Marley booed when Merinos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Angelino Villarinos didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Diegotxe Giribet in the 26th minute of play forced Merinos FC's goalkeeper Montrelle Ceballos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 32nd minute, Henrik Löv left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Robert Nesta Marley fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Henrik Löv in the 36th minute of play forced Merinos FC's goalkeeper Montrelle Ceballos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 40 minutes into the game, Umbruso Lastras was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Merinos FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Robert Nesta Marley the free kick. In the 40th match minute, Merinos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Umbruso Lastras to maneuver through the defense. Montrelle Ceballos stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Henrik Löv's shot from short distance in the 42nd minute. Montrelle Ceballos didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Genco Sufi went, in the 43rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. 46 minutes into the match, Rafal Czysta had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Montrelle Ceballos. Merinos FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rafal Czysta was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-5. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-5.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Milio Urizar to strike the kick off in the second half. Montrelle Ceballos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Diegotxe Giribet, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 58 played minutes Merinos FC got a freekick which was hit by Fidel Casillas. In the 60th minute, Genco Sufi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Montrelle Ceballos was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-7. Montrelle Ceballos stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Henrik Löv's shot from short distance in the 63rd minute. Montrelle Ceballos was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 64th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Rafal Czysta. In the 65th minute the ball was on its way in behind Merinos FC's goalkeeper Montrelle Ceballos, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 70th minute, Henrik Löv left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Robert Nesta Marley fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-8. Genco Sufi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 77 minutes, Henrik Löv managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Robert Nesta Marley's supporters crossed their fingers, but Henrik Löv was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Montrelle Ceballos came out of the goal in the 79th minute to try and stop a shot by Robert Nesta Marley's Henrik Löv. But to his dismay, Henrik Löv quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-9. Rafal Czysta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Montrelle Ceballos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Angelino Villarinos fell near the penalty area in the 85th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Merinos FC's protests and gave Angelino Villarinos a yellow card for diving instead. After 85 played minutes Merinos FC got a freekick which was hit by Angelino Villarinos. 89 minutes had been played when some careless play by Merinos FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Andrew Hallam was slow to take the kick. During this time Robert Nesta Marley's players had a chance to rest. If Henrik Löv had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 94th minute Genco Sufi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Montrelle Ceballos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Henrik Löv in the 95th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Montrelle Ceballos saved Merinos FC from getting behind. Milio Urizar kicked well hit freekick during the 97th minute of the match. When the match was over Robert Nesta Marley could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Merinos FC throughout the match.
